COURTYARD GARDEN, CORSHAM
Indian Flagstones and cobbles surround a rectangular gravel bed. The cobbles are also used, turned on their sides and together with Bath stone pebbles found in the sub-soil, to form the borders of low raised beds.
The garden was originally set to grass which for various reasons wasn't growing very well - after paving it looks much bigger.

FRONT GARDEN, ST ANDREWS
Originally solid concrete underlay this front garden near St Andrews Park. The path is made using different sized cobblestones laid in a curvy shape with a cobble border. (This is actually quite a traditional design dating from 16th Cent) There is semi-circular focal point at the front door. Self binding path gravel is laid to the front of the bay window bordered by reclaimed Victorian "Barley Twist" edging tiles.
DRY STONE WALL WITH NICHES FOR NIGHT LIGHTS, WESTBURY-ON-TRYM
Dry stone wall built using stone from collapsed garden wall. The central steps form feature and lead the eye on to the garden beyond. 3 niches on each side were included for night lights. The steps and the coping stones are Indian Sandstone. The steps are an "Architectural Composition", the first step is wider so there could be pots on either side. Then there is a narrower flight of steps to the upper level where there is a platform and a "Rose Arch".
Path made using flagstones, with reclaimed bricks and a cobble border.
NUGENT HILL, KINGSDOWN
Drive paved with "Pennant" flagstones, bedded on hardcore, wet laid and pointed in with sand & cement.
Raised area above drive-in with planting area.
Wires installed for training grape vine and stone wall built around shed.
CHESTERFIELD ROAD, ST ANDREWS
Flagstones laid at the back of the house between conservatory and garden. Wall, with curved corners, built using reclaimed bricks.
The tiles here were loose, broken, uneven and cracked. The ones that were OK were taken up and relaid on a new base bringing in additional ones to match from "Rose Green Reclamation". We also reset in place the black barley twist edging tiles.
GARDEN IN WESTBURY ON TRYM
There was a straight concrete path between the patio and the green house which we took up and replaced with a curvy gravel path bordered with pebbles. The path is underlaid with a weed proof membrane and we laid a type of self binding path gravel. The same gravel was used for the circular herb bed. On the right hand side rockery stone replaced a low brick retaining wall to give a more natural feel. At the bottom of the garden beyond the greenhouse the same self binding path gravel was used.
EASTER GARDEN, HIGH ST, CLIFTON
Ajoining the Easter Garden and enjoying full sun for most of the day. A wide terraced area was established and paved using natural flagstones.
